Plan your yard
Draw it. Then send it.
Draw it
Rough out the yard yourself.
Drop a patio, a drive, a wall or a fence run onto the plot and push them around until it looks about right. The square footage updates as you size each one, which is the number the first phone call always starts with.

Already there
Tap to add. Drag a zone to move it, drag its corner to resize. When the plot is zoomed in, drag the empty grid to pan around it. With a keyboard: Tab to a zone, arrows move it, shift + arrows resize, Delete removes. One grid square is 2ft.
What you have drawn
- Driveway~240 sq ft
- Patio / pool deck~192 sq ft
- House×1
What this is, and what it is not
The square footage is real arithmetic on the shapes you drew. There is no price attached and there deliberately is not one: what a yard costs turns on access, levels, what is already in the ground and how far material has to be carried, and a rectangle on a grid knows none of that.
Send it over and it becomes the first two minutes of the site visit: he arrives already knowing the shape of the job and roughly how big it is, instead of working that out from a description over the phone.
Or photograph it
Send what is there now.
Three questions and a few photos from your phone. About ninety seconds.
Step one
Show us the space.
Straight off your phone is perfect. Two or three wide shots tell us more than a paragraph, and one from the street helps.
Photos of your yard
Skip this if you would rather just talk, but it is the fastest way to get a useful answer.
Up to 8 photos, 12MB each. The form sends their names and sizes; the pictures themselves stay on your phone until he asks for them.
What happens next
Ground first, then what sits on it.
- 01Someone looks at what you sentEnough to say whether what you want is straightforward or awkward on your lot.
- 02A visit to the propertyLevels, access, and where the water goes. That is most of what a job takes.
- 03A number, from himNothing on this site computes a price, because nothing on this site has seen your ground.
- 04Then the buildSequenced so nothing that goes in first has to come back up.
